GLUTATHIONE

There are certain kinds of compounds that inhibit the tyrosinase activity and L-glutathione is one of them. GSH (reduced glutathione) intervenes in the metabolism. The oral use of Reduced Glutathione (L-glutathione) inhibits the tyrosinase activity. Once the tyrosinase activity has been inhibited the metabolic pathway then reverses its course going to the synthesis of light pigmented melanin called Phaeomelanin instead of synthesizing dark pigmented melanin called Eumelanin. The cycle continuously flow as long as the presence of L-glutathione co-exists in the metabolic pathway of melanin. Finally, light skin will reveal to the surface gradually changing your complexion.

L-Glutathione has no known side effects or interactions even if given orally in prolonged use. If you have any history of allergy. It is advised to do a skin test for first time user

  • Glutathione is an antioxidant primarily made of 3 Amino acids namely Cystein, Glycine, and Glutamic acid.
  • Glutathione is an antioxidant that cleans the liver, takes care of free radicals and helps the brain as well. Glutathione is safe for everyone, no matter the age.
  • Glutathione is considered to be the most powerful, most versatile and most important part of the body’s selfgenerated antioxidants.
  • It is found in almost all living cells. The Liver, Spleen, Kidneys, Pancreas, the Lens and Cornea, have the highest concentrations in the body.
  • It is a powerful antioxidant and thus neutralizes free radicals and prevents their formation.
  • Important role in immune function via white blood cell production and is one of the most potent anti-viral agents known.
  • It is one of the strongest anti-cancer agents manufactured by the body.
  • It is produced by the liver to detoxify toxins including Formaldehyde, Acetaminophen, Benzpyrene, and many other compounds.
  • It is an antioxidant necessary for the protection of proteins; it is involved in nucleic acid synthesis and plays a role in DNA repair.
  • It maintains the cellular redox potential.
  • Glutathione levels decrease with age. It is involved in cellular differentiation and slows the aging process.
  • Protects the integrity of red blood cells.
  • Glutathione is involved in maintaining normal brain function.
  • Glutathione is a food supplement and not a drug, therefore doesn’t require Food and Drug Administration approval in the US. It is listed in the USFDA’s GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) list of safe food supplements under specification 21CFR§184.1979c.
