lipolysis injections

Lipolysis is a non-surgical injection therapy that reduces localised subcutaneous fat deposits and decreases subcutaneous adipocytes (fat cells). It is not a method of weight loss but rather a treatment for body sculpting or contouring. Many people have a healthy lifestyle and exercise regularly but have soft fat in areas that are impossible to target, ie; the neck area under the chin, inner thighs or love handles.

The injected active agent in Network Lypolysis, is phosphatidylcholine (PPC), a lecithin product produced by soy beans. Phosphatidylcholine is found in every cell of the human body (cell membranes), and is produced by the body itself. This substance causes the fat cell walls to dissolve; the fat is then eliminated by the body’s metabolic process. By reducing the number of fat cells in the area, the amount of fat stored in the area is reduced. PPC is a safe substance that has been used therapeutically for over 15 years, with more than 60,000 documented treatments.

Network Lypolysis Therapy is indicated for the treatment of – Jowls, Double Chin, Cheek, Nasolabial Fold, Axillary (Armpit) Folds, Upper arms, Back Rolls, Iliac Crest (Hip), Love Handles, Upper and Lower Stomach, Buttocks, Inner and Outer Thighs, Above and Inner Knee, Male Gynaecomastia (Breasts), Pubic Region, Cellulite and treatment of Lipomas.

Generally 2-4 treatments are necessary at intervals of 8 weeks in order to successfully complete the therapy. Over 80% of patients are extremely satisfied with the results after 2 to 3 treatments. Results are not immediate but are evident after approximately 10 weeks.
The therapy is not intended as a means of weight reduction but is a way of reducing unwanted localised deposits of fat. Injection lipolysis achieves a permanent reduction in fat deposits, especially in those places that cannot be specifically targeted by dieting or sport.
According to current state of knowledge, fat cells that have once been dissolved do not return. This means that the fat deposits concerned are permanently reduced. Provided your weight remains unchanged, the results of the lipolysis treatment should also remain constant.
